I just want to know if it’s possible. I'm pretty sure you can trade locally without online. The only way to compete the dex without paying any money is to have a friend who has Shield. While it does add a lot of extra effort and time, you could use the free version of Home for trading (unless they changed that)

Aromatisse and slurpuff need an item to evolve. You get one of the items in the game and if you want another you have to use bp point or whatever you get in the battle tower. I play for fun and just to catch so idk the name of the point things lol. Maybe that’s why it was hard to get those. But congrats on completing the dex 🥳
I mean it's hard to make sure you have anything but I completed the regional DeX after gaining access to the battle chatue and daycare I have more than that registered its definitely possible but I don't think theres any point the professor doesn't recognize that I completed the pokedex without the mountain dex
From your viewpoint is more fun/satisfactory get a Chansey/Porygon hatching/catching them than Trading but others players can have diferent opinions. You give me the best example, If you don't want get a Pokémon by Trading in Pokémon Blue/Red doesn't mean that others players shouldn't be allowed to do that, looks like too subjetive for me.
Yes, you can complete the Sinnoh Dex in Platinum. As for your other question, Manaphy IS tricky if you don't know where to look. In Mr. Backlots mansion, in the room with Mr backlot, there is a table, with a journal on it. If you interact with that journal, you will get the "seen" entry for Manaphy. And if you wanted to get the "caught" entry

I haven't tried this myself, but apparently you can transfer Pokémon back into Let's Go as long as they've never been in a non-Lets Go game. When making trading requests you can specify that you want a Pokémon from Let's Go. I think you might like Pokémon Legends: Arceus, because you can complete the Pokédex in that game without trading at all.
